This production brings together a talented ensemble of youth and young performers to explore the absurdities and complexities of social issues that shape our lives. Set against the vibrant backdrop of a high school formal, the stories of familiar characters converge in a riotous celebration of music, dance, and drama. With a live band comprised of talented young musicians, Tale Spin tackles pressing issues such as capitalism, equality, and the impact of our choices on others with wit, charm, and a healthy dose of silliness."
This a collaboratively directed work, harvesting the voices and experiences of our young performers.

The Story
"Tale Spin" is a vibrant youth production that brings together talented young performers to share their stories and perspectives. Developed collaboratively with the participants, this production showcases their creativity and skill. The young cast's musical talents shine, forming an exceptional cohesive band that takes center stage. The production tackles pressing social issues like capitalism, truth and gender equality through engaging tales. A school formal setting provides the backdrop, symbolizing a celebration of diversity and individuality, as well as a turning point in the youth's journey.
With a playful pantomime genre, "Tale Spin" marks an exciting new chapter under the creative direction of Dr. Paris Balla and Cassandra Fumi. Special thanks to these artistic directors for guiding the team through this innovative production
